Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities signed recently here a contract on the Commission's strategic assessment, restructuring and institutional plans. In a speech delivered following the signing ceremony of the contract, the Prince emphasized importance of this project at this stage after the issuance of the new system on 16/3/1429H., which added new executive responsibilities to the Commission relating to antiquities, museums, tourism investment, tour organizers, and travel and tourism agencies. He considered the contract as the second phase of institutional structuring of the Commission.
