The deposed Prime Minister of the Palestinian government Ismail Haniyeh expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Saudi people for their courage and honored Arab-Islamic stances, reflecting the spirit of Islam and rejection of injustice, aggression and occupation. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Haniyeh commended the speech read out by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Kuwaiti summit, since it came as a new hope for the Arab Ummah (Nation). He also valued the political and non-political efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to overcome the repercussions of the Israeli aggression against the people of Gaza Strip, noting the $ one billion allocated by the Saudi Monarch for the reconstruction of Gaza.
