Presided over by its Vice Chairman Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Hamza Hajjar, the Shoura Council held here today its 71st ordinary session. The Council approved the request by the Committee for Security Affairs to join the International Road Traffic Agreement (Vienna 8 November 1968) with reservation on article 52. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Secretary General of Shoura Council Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ghamdi said that the council also approved the report of the Committee for Water, Facilities and Public Services and recommendations to devise an overall development plan regarding the improvement of gas stations and service centers on the Kingdom's highways.
