Presided over by its Chairman Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid, the Shoura Council held its 70th session here today. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Secretary General of Shoura Council Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi said that the Council completed the discussion of the draft Regulation of Railways Transport and will vote on the its articles at a later session. He also said that at the outset of the meeting, the Council voted to approve the recommendations of the Special Committee regarding the draft rules of the accountability of the members of Tawaif (guilds) of Motawafeen, Wokalaa, Adilaa and Alzamzimah (workers serving pilgrims during Hajj and Umrah) including: First: Stop studying the draft rules of the accountability of the members of Tawaif (groups) of Motawafeen, Wokalaa, Adilaa and Alzamzimah until the issuance of a regulation on the activities of these Tawaif in accordance with the decision of the Cabinet No. 81 dated 07/03/1428H. Second: Speed up the completion of the Cabinet's decision No. 81 dated 07/03/1428H as regards restructuring the Arbab Al-Tawaif Establishments. Then, the Council discussed a report on the draft regulation of private rehabilitation centers for handicapped and will continue to discuss the issue at a later session.
