Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Disabled Children Association, praised Princess Latifa bint Fahad bin Abdulaziz's care for patronizing the Sixth Traditional Village Festival organized by the Disabled Children Association 26-28 January 2009 in the Association offices in Riyadh, and her support of the Association and fostering its programs oriented to handicapped children. Held at King Fahad Center for the Disabled Care, Riyadh, the festival has several merchandizing and cultural activities, and considered as mini-Janadriya. On the sidelines of the festival, several cultural and educational activities, lectures, and symposia are held. Companies and establishments showcase their products, handicrafts, and oriental perfumes. Mr. Awadh Al-Ghamdi, Secretary General of the Association stated that the festival aims at reaching out to female communities in the Kingdom to introduce the Association's mission and accomplished achievements in rehabilitation and developing the skills of thousands of handicapped children, and boosting the Saudi woman's role in countering disability.
