Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu and Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Amr Moussa signed today at the OIC's headquarters in Jeddah an agreement aiming at strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two organizations. It also includes cooperation in a variety of fields such as: politics, media, economic, social as well as science. The agreement also aims at strengthening of Arab-Islamic relations through preserving mutual interests as well as enhancing cooperation in terms of security. They both agreed on the exchange of views on the events and political issues concerning Arab and Islamic countries. The agreement also requires cooperation and coordination in the fields of information and economy as well as strengthening cultural ties.
