The Arab League Council decided, at its ministerial meeting here today, to put the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip top of the draft agenda of the Arab economic summit to be hosted by Kuwait next Monday. In addition to discussions about the developments of the Israeli military aggression on Gaza Strip and its serious repercussions, the Council also decided to go-ahead with its scheduled agenda at the Arab economic, social and development summit in Kuwait. To combine the two major interests, the summit's slogan will also read as "Solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza", calling for establishment of a fund for the reconstruction of Gaza. The remarks were made to Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) by the Director of Arab World Department at Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Jassim Almubarki. He added that the joint preparatory meetings held by the Arab Foreign ministers and senior officials discussed the draft resolutions of the Kuwait Declaration and the decisions which will be issued at the summit in addition to a number of decisions adopted by officials in their preparatory meetings.
