The Saudi-Jordanian joint commission began here today its 12th session under the co-chairmanship of Dr Jubara al-Sireisiri, the minister of transport, and Jordanian minister of industry and trade Eng. A'mir al-Hadidi. Speaking on the occasion, Dr al-Sireisiri urged the Jordanian businessmen to double their efforts for benefiting from the privileges available in the two countries. He noted that it will be possible to implement joint projects in a manner that leads to enhancing economic relations between the two countries. Dr al-Sireisiri pointed out that the trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Jordan jumped from sr 1.287 billion in 2002 to sr 13.602 billion in 2007. --more
