The Saudi-Ukraine Joint Commission began here today two-day deliberations of it's Third session under co-chairmanship of Minister Of Transport Dr Jubara al-Sireisiri and Ukraine Deputy Premier Oleksandr Turchynov. Speaking on the occasion, Dr al-Sireisiri highlighted the existing Saudi-Ukraine relations. He urged businessmen in the two countries to double their efforts for further enhancing trade exchange between the two countries through increasing exports and imports between them. Dr al-Sireisiri pointed out that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries amounted in 2005 to SR 1, 847 million, SR 3, 017 million in 2006 and about SR 2, 700 million in 2007. Dr al-Sireisiri noted that the Kingdom's economy is the biggest economy in the Middle East. "The Saudi economy is managed by a wise leadership in a very secured and stable situation," he said. He reiterated the keenness of the Saudi and Ukrainian leaderships on further cementing the bilateral relations. --More
