OIC Executive Committee holds meeting

The Executive Committee of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) held here today an enlarged meeting at the level of Foreign Ministers of OIC Member States.
The meeting was held to discuss the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the situation in Somalia after the resignation of President Abdullahi Yusuf.
In his opening speech during the meeting, OIC Secretary General Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu said that Somalia needs continued support from OIC, urging OIC Member States to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to the needy in Somalia.
