Four workers were wounded Friday when an accident occurred along Warah oil pipeline, eastern Kuwait, and the situation has been contained, said Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), according to KUNA. In a press release, KOC said three of the workers were slightly wounded, and the fourth suffered injuries of medium severity. It explained that the accident, which occurred at 11:00 a.m., resulted from the formation of a gas bubble in the pipeline, where the workers were conducting maintenance operations. The situation has been contained and the wounded have been taken to hospital for treatment, it said, adding that a technical committee was formed to investigate the matter.
