The paper noted that Israel opted for this malicious stance in the face of US administration's pre-occupation with the process shifting power from the present president to the new one. It is high time for the Palestinian factions to forget their differences and unite their ranks for confronting the Israeli arrogance, it added. Meanwhile, the Abha-based Al-Watan felt the Israeli aggression would continue because the political leaders of Israel are keen on obtaining political gains at the expense of the Palestinian blood. Unfortunately the aggression has been granted a form of legitimacy because the resolution adopted by the Security Council does not compel the conflicting parties to end the aggression, and that is also tantamount to encouraging Israel to unleash its savage attacks and undertake at free-will, even more crimes of persecution and slaughter of the innocent Palestinian civilians.
