"What is desired is a strong Arab stand that forces the big countries to adopt an effective decision for punishing Israel and extending protection to the Palestinians from any Israeli aggression. The Abha-based Al-Watan described the incident as a massacre. It noted that the shelling would not have taken place if a real pressure was put on Israel. Under the title of a crime without punishment, Al-Riyadh said Hamas has sent its unharmful missiles to Israel and Tel Aviv in turn, has carried out a merciless massacre and destroyed the greater part of the infrastructure of Gaza. The paper said no party can deter Israel which has been exploiting launching of missiles as a justification for big confrontation.
