In line with the directives of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz to provide air ambulances to transfer the injured Palestinians in Gaza to Saudi hospitals, following the Israeli aggression which killed more than 300 civilians up till now, Two Medevac (Medical Evacuation) planes have left Riyadh Air Base bound for Al-Areesh Airport. Dr. Hamad Al-Mane, Minister of Health said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency that the Saudi Hospitals are ready to receive in-coming casualties from Palestine. He also said that the two planes are carrying medical personnel on-board including Saudi Red Crescent Society (SRCS), and fitted with the latest equipment to transport those who require intensive medical care to ensure their safe transfer to hospitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and for the completion of the necessary medical treatment.
