Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdul-Rahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah has commended the existing distinguished brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Qatar's Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. In a press statement, he considered the first meeting of Joint Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council, concluded in Riyadh on Tuesday, as a quantum leap in strengthening close relations between the two countries and as an additional support for the joint Gulf action to achieve the desired integration between the GCC member states.
