Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session held here today. At the outset of the session, the Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the cabinet on the talks, consultations and meetings he held during the recent days with a number of state leaders, their envoys, and representatives of world organizations on political, economic and humanitarian issues of the region and the world. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, Minister of Social Affairs and Acting Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Yosef bin Ahmad Al-O'thaimein said the Cabinet valued the visit paid by Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari to the kingdom and his meeting with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. The visit underlined the desire of the two countries to further boost their brotherly relations for the benefit of the two countries and the Islamic nation in general. The Cabinet also valued the acceptance of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of the certificate of "Champion of Fighting Poverty " provided by World Food Program in appreciation of the kingdom's efforts and support for the program, stressing that the kingdom, owing to its Islamic and humanitarian mission, will continue its noble humanitarian course in helping the needy peoples in various countries of the world. --More
