THE VICE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES PRINCE SULTAN BIN ABDULAZIZ CHAIRED THE CABINET'S WEEKLY SESSION AT AL-YAMAMAH PALACE IN RIYADH ON MONDAY.
AT THE OUTSET OF THE SESSION, THE CABINET VALUED THE GREAT EFFORTS EXERTED BY LEADERS OF GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL (GCC) COUNTRIES TO ACHIEVE THE AMBITIONS AND ASPIRATIONS OF GCC PEOPLES, AND APPRECIATED GREATLY THE EFFORTS OF THE LEADERS FOR THE OUTCOMES OF THEIR 9TH CONSULTATIVE MEETING HELD IN RIYADH UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ. THE MEETING DEALT WITH VARIOUS ISSUES WHICH SERVE AND STRENGTHEN THE INTEGRATION OF GCC COUNTRIES, THEIR POSITIVE WORK FOR THE CONCERNS OF ARAB AND ISLAMIC NATIONS, AND THE EFFORTS TO ENHANCE SECURITY, STABILITY AND PROSPERITY FOR THESE NATIONS AND THE WORLD AT LARGE.
IN A STATEMENT TO THE SAUDI PRESS AGENCY (SPA) FOLLOWING THE SESSION, THE MINISTER OF STATE, CABINET'S MEMBER AND ACTING MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION DR. MUSAED BIN MOHAMMED AL-EIBAN SAID THAT THE VICE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES EXPRESSED HIS PRIDE OF DEEP, HISTORICAL AND STRONG RELATIONS BINDING THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA AND THE KINGDOM OF MOROCCO WHICH MATERIALIZED DURING THE VISIT OF THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ TO MOROCCO, AND THE WARM WELCOME AND GENEROUS HOSPITALITY EXTENDED TO KING ABDULLAH BY MOROCCAN KING AND PEOPLE REFLECTED THE POSITION THE KINGDOM HAS OCCUPIED IN THE HEARTS OF THE MOROCCAN PEOPLE. PRINCE SULTAN COMMENDED THE DETERMINATION OF THE TWO KINGS TO ENHANCE RELATIONS TO MEET THE ASPIRATIONS OF THE TWO PEOPLES, NOTING THAT THE SIGNING OF VARIOUS AGREEMENTS DURING THE VISIT REFLECTS THE EARNEST DESIRE FOR ENHANCEMENT OF COOPERATION BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES.
