Morocco's Interior Ministry says it has seized about 7 tons of hashish during a raid in the south of the country, AP reported. A ministry statement Saturday says police arrested four suspects during the sweep in the province of Inezegane-Ait Melloul. It says the drugs were meant to be smuggled to Europe through the tourist resort of Agadir. They were intercepted Friday. The official MAP news agency says 80 tons of cannabis have been seized this year, along with 25 kilograms of cocaine, 3 kilograms of heroin and over 35,000 psychedelic pills.
