Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Asha-Rose Migiro has affirmed the continuation of the UN activities to support development process in the country, Saba reported. During her meeting with Deputy Premier Abdul Karim al-Arhabi in the UN headquarters in New York, Migiro highlighted the impact of the oil price hike and its consequences on the foodstuffs' prices internationally and the developed courtiers, including Yemen. The meeting also dealt with the last developments in Yemen and in the region and world. Al-Arhabi also met with in the UN headquarters with the UN Assistant Secretary General and Regional Director of the United Nations Development Programme and Director of the Regional Bureau for Arab States Amat Al Alim Alsoswa. The meeting reviewed and evaluated the implementation progress of the development projects of United Nations Development Programme in Yemen.
