Dollar mixed, gold up in morning trading

The U.S. dollar was mixed against other
major currencies in European trading Wednesday morning.
Gold fell.
The euro traded at US$1.3626, down from US$1.3650 late
Tuesday in New York.

_1.1587 Canadian dollars, down from 1.1616
The British pound was quoted at US$1.7517, up from
$$1.7437.
Gold traded in London at US$848.50 per troy ounce, up from
US$832.50 late Tuesday.
