Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister, patronized here last night the inaugural ceremony of the second Arab conference for the heads of Administrations of prosecutions general as well as heads of Commissions of investigation and prosecution. Speaking on the occasion, the Head of the Investigation and Prosecution Commission Sheikh Mohammed Al-Abdullah said various crimes being witnessed by the contemporary world under the phenomenon of globalization and information revolution make it necessary to exchange expertise and develop a well-defined cooperation mechanism. He noted that the 3-day conference will discuss means of exchanging expertise among the organs of investigation and prosecution in the Arab countries as well as ways of forging cooperation for confronting organized crime. --MORE
