Saudi Commission for Investigation and Prosecution (CIP) and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences will organize Cyber Crimes seminar on October 12-14. The seminar will benefit GCC prosecution officials in addition to judges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Abdulaziz Saqr Al-Ghamdi, Rector of NAUSS reiterated that countering cyber crime has been given a great attention including 20 Master and Ph.D. dissertations in the field of information security, computer crimes, the fight against forgery (ID theft), and electronic fraud. Moreover, NAUSS has released in the same context, more than (10) versions of scientific publishing on various dimensions of these crimes, in addition to training courses and symposiums. The seminar addresses concepts of computer crimes, characteristics, types, characteristics of perpetrators, procedures for investigating computer-related crimes, applications and models of computer-related crimes at Arab and international levels, as well as computer-related crimes in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
