Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior emphasized that the Kingdom's hosting of the works of 2nd Arab Conference for Prosecutors General and heads of commissions of investigation and public prosecution reflects the concern of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for strengthening the cooperation among member countries of the Arab League and for activating their efforts in the areas of investigation and prosecution bodies and the General Public Prosecutions in addition to the development of their capabilities to meet the challenges of the era. On the occasion of the conference, Prince Naif said, "The cultural, social and economic changes of this era and what generate the negative effects and security problems necessitate the search for better ways of coordination and cooperation among the investigation and prosecution bodies and the General Public Prosecutions as well as creating and supporting the developed mechanisms to deal with these changes. The Minister of Interior emphasized the importance of Arab cooperation in the areas of combating organized crime, trans-border crimes and activation of the agreements and international treaties for the extradition of criminals and outlaws of religion, law and order, pointing to the need to benefit from the technologies of this era to achieve cherished communication and coordination among all Arab bodies and authorities on this subject. Prince Naif expressed his confidence in the ability of the Prosecutors General and heads of commissions of investigation and public prosecution participating in the conference to reach active outcomes which serve Arab interests, and to develop appropriate mechanisms to implement these outcomes, emphasizing the support of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for joint Arab efforts and its support for the decisions and outcomes that meet the aspirations of the leaders and peoples of Arab countries.
