Mishari al-Saud, the Deputy Minister of education for girls education, has underlined the importance of al-Ameen project, and said it will have a positive outcome. He noted that the project will cover 30 percent of the female students in the first phase, and later it will cover all female students. Prince Dr Khalid said the project will be implemented in all of the Kingdom's regions at a cost of more than sr 3 billion, which is equivalent to sr 1 billion annually. Meanwhile, Mohammed al-Naghi, the chairman of the board of directors of Hafil Company for school transport, said the company has made the required arrangements for the training of the Saudi drivers who will undertake driving of the buses. The project will make more than 5000 job opportunities available for the Saudi youth, he said. It is worth mentioning that the education ministry has signed a contract with Hafil Company for operating al-Ameen project at a cost of sr1.8 billion. In line with the 3-year contract 500,000 female students will be transported.
