Prince Saud al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister and Head of the Saudi delegation to the meetings of the UN's general assembly, met here on Thursday with UN's Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. They reviewed the topics on the agenda of the meetings of the UN's general assembly notably the Palestinian problem, the peace process in the Middle East as well as the forthcoming meeting of the quartet. They also reviewed the imitative of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz pertaining to dialogue among the followers of the religions and the outcome of Madrid conference for dialogue. Ki-moon expressed support to the initiative of the King and called for taking the required measures for the implementation of the initiative notably the recommendations pertaining to terrorism, violence, drugs and social dissolution. The meeting was attended by Saudi ambassador to the US Adel al-Jubeir and a number of other senior officials.
