UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon Saturday night strongly condemned the "heinous" terrorist attack on the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad, Pakistan, killing 50 people and injuring over 250 others. "No cause can justify the indiscriminate targeting of civilians," his press office said in a statement quoted by KUNA. Ban expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of this "appalling" attack, as well as to the government and people of Pakistan.
