Tremors detected in Hormuz Strait

Tremors measuring up to 4.3 on the Richter scale were detected yesterday by the national seismic network stations at Bandar Abbas near the Strait of Hormuz, Southern Iran, the UAE news agency "WAM" reported.
A report by the Network, an affiliate of the UAE National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology, said the tremors which took place yesterday around 11 pm UAE local time might have been felt in Northern emirates are normal seismic activity.
