The Arab Council for Childhood and Development chaired by Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz will launch development strategy of Arab child language in the Syrian capital Damascus during next November to mark the selection of Damascus as capital of Arab culture for 2008. The expert in the Arab Council for Childhood and Development and who is the rapporteur of preparation of the strategy Suhair Abdulfattah said in a statement today that the objective of the strategy is to achieve a comprehensive linguistic policy which will take into consideration the Arab culture , global changes, the specialty of the Arab society and the characteristics of growth in childhood. It is noteworthy that Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz has sent the draft strategy to the Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa for adoption by Arab governments and put it into effect after its launch.
