Harthi, Advisor and General Supervisor of the Office of Rector of King Saud University considered the King's acceptance of the honorary doctorate from the university as a medal of honor and pride for the University that such a distinguished personality in the world obtaining a degree issued by King Saud University, noting that the King has paid great attention to higher education. On his part, Dr. Musaed Al-Misained, the General Supervisor of the General Department of Works and Support Services said that the King is a great man who believed in the necessity of science and its importance in the progress, and who sincerely stood and generously contributed to reviving the higher education and spreading it, adding that during the King's era, great achievements have been accomplished and enjoyed by the homeland and its people.
