Othman said that the acceptance of the honorary doctorate by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques will strengthen the national mission of this university and will enable it to achieve global leadership worthy of the name of the Kingdom. And with this great moral support from the king to the university, it has played a pivotal role in national development through its contribution to the establishment of five universities in the regions of the Kingdom. The director of King Saud University expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude on behalf of King Saud University to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for acceptance of the honorary doctorate, which recognizes the King's achievements in the care of higher education and scientific research in universities and also recognizes the royal generous support received by the University and other universities in the Kingdom enabling them to achieve global leadership which in turn contributes to the transformation of knowledge-based society and the national economy.
