British Prime Minister Gordon Brown expressed his sincere congratulations to British Muslims and Muslims all over the world on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan. In a message distributed last night on the electronic website of the British Foreign Office, Brown commended the contributions of Muslims to enriching the British society saying, "The contributions of Muslims have been great in the success of Britain, our prosperity, society and culture. Of course, the month of Ramadan is an opportunity to reflect on the contribution of Islam, not only in Britain but also in the world in terms of the Islamic art, science and philosophy. It also has enriched our lives over the centuries."
