The International Advisory Board of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals held here today its fourth periodical two-day meeting headed by Dr. Martin Jeski, the Chairman of the Board and former President of Bordo American University. The Director of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dr. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Sultan said that the International Advisory Board of the University is one of the fruits of the keenness and follow-up of our wise leadership to improve the educational and research process in the universities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the leadership's continued support and guidance to benefit from the most advanced global experience wherever it exists to enhance the march of university education in our country. For his part, the Secretary General of the International Advisory Board of the University, Dr. Khattab bin Ghalib Al-Hina'i said that the meeting discussed several issues pertaining to university students, faculty members and scientific research activities. He added that the director of the University informed the council of the latest developments in the university and of what is being done for the projects at the university which received the blessing of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud when he launched them during his visit to the university in 1429H. He noted that the achievements of the university stem from the unlimited support provided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince and from their deep vision for the importance of higher education for the future of the Kingdom and its citizens. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
