The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of congratulations to Chinese President Hu Jintao the occasion of the success attained by the 29th Olympiad, hosted by china on August 08-24, 2008. "We have been happy for the unprecedented success attained at the level of preparation and organization in a manner that earned this great sports event the admiration and appreciation, " said the King, adding that these achievements have reflected the aspirations of the human community towards coexistence and enhancing bonds of friendship and cooperation. He also congratulated the Chinese President over the medals clinched by China in various games. King Abdullah highlighted the existing distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and China, and reiterated the keenness of the Kingdom to further cement these relations in a manner that serves mutual interests.
