President Hu Jintao of the Peoples' Republic of China will start on Tuesday a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during which he will meet with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. During the meeting, they will discuss the bilateral relations between the two countries, ways of their enhancement in various fields and regional and international issues of common concern. The relations between the Kingdom and China have witnessed rapid developments for over 18 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries. This is the second visit for President Jintao to the Kingdom after his first visit in April, 2006, clearly reflecting the great interest of the Chinese leadership in the relations of friendship and strategic cooperation between the two countries. --MORE
