The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) middle east and north Africa director Nadim Khouri arrived on Sunday in Yemen on a few-day official visit, Saba reported. The visit aims to familiarize with activities of the IFAD in the country in addition to hold talks with Yemeni officials on the possibility to get advantages from the IFAD programs at Yemeni rural and poor areas. Khouri said Yemen and IFAD are seeking to cooperate to develop rural areas in the country, pointing out that four projects currently under construction linked to building roads and other projects will be discussed during his current visit.
