Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Member of the Board of Trustees of International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, Chairman of the Eastern Mediterranean Region, Chairman of the Agency's Committee for Support and Public Relations participated in the Board's meeting held in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, yesterday. During the meeting, the Prince presented a report on the achievement of the general assembly of the World Health Organization in its 61st session held in Geneva last May on the organization's approval of the proposal submitted by Saudi Arabia to develop a separate plan of action to combat a visual disability, which would lead to the activation of previous resolutions supporting the fight against blindness and to the development of operational plans in all member states to implement these resolutions.
