Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Saturday said the government will follow the policy of political dialogue in tribal areas, the Associated Press of Pakistan reported today. "However no one would be allowed to challenge writ of the government. Political dialogue is our first option instead of military action in tribal areas,” the Prime Minister told media persons as he visited Pakistan Ordnance Factory's (POF) hospital to inquire after the health of injured in last Thursday's twin blasts. The Prime Minister strongly condemned the suicide blasts, which he said resulted in the loss of lives of “poor laborers, loyal Pakistanis and breadwinners of their families”. He said the terrorists were bringing no good name to Islam and the country by harming such innocent people, mostly belonging to lower-middle class of the society. “We strongly condemn the elements involved in targeting poor people of the country, " he said. He however, termed it too early saying anything about the “involvement of foreign elements” in Wah blasts, before the investigation procedure was fully completed. The Prime Minister stressed the need for an urgent solution to confront the issue of terrorism, in consultation with political parties and people.
