A moderate quake measuring 5.2 Richter scale struck Bengkulu province of Sumatra Island on Friday, no report of damage or casualty, Xinhua quoted the meteorology agency as saying. The quake jolted at 14:21 Jakarta time (0521GMT) with epicenter at 104 kilometers southwest Bintuhan of the province and at 34 kilometers in depth, an official of the agency said. Indonesia sits at a vulnerable zone so called "the Pacific Ringof Fire" where two continental plates meet causing frequent volcanic movements.
