An earthquake with magnitude of 5.0rocked eastern parts of Indonesia on Saturday, with no report of damage or casualty, Xinhua quoted meteorology agency as saying. The quake struck at 11:47 Jakarta time (9447 GMT) with epicenter at 275 kilometers southwest Ambon of Maluku province and at 439 kilometers in depth, an official of the agency said. Indonesia sits at a vulnerable zone so called "the Pacific Ring of Fire" where two continental plates, stretching from the Western Hemisphere through Japan and Southeast Asia, meet that cause frequent volcanic movements.
