UAE Mission distributes relief items to Sudanese floods victims

As part of the efforts of the United Arab Emirates to provide aid to victims of floods which hit the Sudanese State of Gadaref, a delegation of the Red Crescent Authority (RCA) distributed blankets, tents and foodstuffs to the displaced persons in Banat and Mafaza areas.
According to RCA Secretary General Dr. Mussa Saleh Al Taei, the RCA delegation provided aid to more than 2, 500 families in three areas, and the UAE news agency "WAM" reported.
Crossing a distance of 600 kilometers, the delegation battled transport odds and succeeded to deliver aid to the needy, as directed by the UAE leadership, said Dr. Al Taei.
