UAE'S RCA spends Dh104 million on Relief works in Afghanistan

The total cost of humanitarian programmes conducted by the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) from 1997- 2008, was Dh104.080 million, the UAE news agency "WAM" reported.
The projects included schools, hospitals, residential towns with all amenities, as well as services which targeted the needy, including widows and orphans, sick people and people with special needs.
The RCA projects in Afghanistan eased sufferings of Afghani people, who are looking forward to the basic life needs.
