The Yemeni-Jordanian Supreme Committee in the field of agriculture signed on Thursday minutes of its third meeting which was held in Sana'a, Saba reported. The minutes includes aspects of strengthening cooperation in the field of increasing the bilateral trade cooperation between both countries and benefiting from experience of the two countries in the areas of plant production, livestock, forestry, forests and desertification control. They agreed on the importance of exchanging experiences in agricultural extension and information, scientific research, the exchange of legislation and publications, specifications and other technical rules. During the meeting, they focused on possibilities of benefiting from the Jordanian experience in the process of accession to the WTO in the field of agriculture and promoting joint cooperation in various fields between the two fraternal countries. They agreed to hold the 4th meeting of the committee during the second half of 2009 and the timetable will be set later.
