India bus crash kills 15, mostly children

A bus skidded off a
rain-drenched road and plunged into a river in southern India
on Thursday, killing 13 children and two adults, police said, according to Reuters.
Locals rescued 14 children from the swirling river, but
divers were still looking for seven others.
The accident happened after the driver lost control of the
bus in heavy rains at the port city of Mangalore in Karnataka
state, police said.
