The euro rose against the dollar
Monday, the Associated Press reported.
The 15-nation currency bought US$1.5575 in European
morning trading, up from the US$1.5548 it bought in late
New York trading Friday.
In other trading, the pound bought US$1.9705 Monday
compared with US$1.9739, while the dollar bought 107.71
Japanese yen, compared with 107.68 yen in New York late
Friday.
