A Tunisian writer and Islamic thinker has praised the World Conference on Dialogue now in progress in Madrid under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al- Saud. Dr. Mohammed Salah Eddin Al-Mstawi said in an article published today in the Tunisian newspaper "Al-Sareeh" that the conference is a fruit of the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for dialogue. He said the conference would study appropriate means for countering claims of clash of civilizations fed by extremists and fanatics everywhere. In this context, he pointed out that this great global forum stemmed from International Islamic Conference for Dialogue which was held in Makkah. He emphasized the importance of this conference among followers of all religions because of its noble objectives that embody the culture of peace, tolerance, coexistence and cooperation among human beings to face the emerging risks. He said that the conference will not be a regular meeting, but turned out to be a historic one which is aimed at benefiting the entire mankind.
