The member of the World Council of Mosques Dr. Bahige Mullah Hewish has confirmed the importance of holding the World Conference on Dialogue between the followers of divine religions, civilizations and cultures, organized by the Muslim World League in Madrid under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He said "The call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to hold this conference did not stem from the worryr for the future of Muslims but also worry about the future of mankind and the future of peaceful coexistence. This idea is accepted and recognized by others and Islam will be preserved and day after day the Muslims are growing in number. The decision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to activate the dialogue is not lacking for conviction or backbone and this is the most important thing in making any decision", pointing out that this decision came to organize the dialogue mechanism on firm foundations according to creative ideas and men who are able to work constructively. He said in an interview with Riyadh Radio that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has sent a message to the world in which he says that civilizations are not clashed but integrated. He added that the most important features of civilizations are the high values and respect for the human rights of the individual and the group.
