Acting speaker of the Jordanian council of deputies Dr Abdullah al-Jazi has highlighted the significance of the conference of dialogue among followers of religions and cultures, and hoped that the conference would adopt proper decisions. In a statement to SPA, he said this conference, organized under the patronage of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, constitutes a good opportunity to shed light on the importance of cooperation among the followers of the heavenly religions, and on the importance of tolerance and avoiding extremism and fanaticism. He noted that the Muslims should project Islam in its proper and real concepts and teachings. Undoubtedly, the Saudi and Jordanian Leaderships have earned the respect of the Arabs, Muslims and the mankind in general due to their role in fighting extremism and their call for tolerance and coexistence as well as for freedom and justice, he added.
