The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) highlighted the contents of the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the opening session of the World Conference on Dialogue in Madrid yesterday and said the King called on the followers of all religions in the world to reject extremism and accept the spirit of tolerance. It mentioned in a report about the Conference some remarks from the King's speech especially those when he said "We must tell the world that differences should not lead to conflicts". In its report, it noted that the journalists say that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques made the communication with other faiths one of the most important things since his ascension to the throne in the Kingdom. "So, he is the first Saudi King to meet the Pope during his rule. He also held last June a conference in Makkah during which participants pledged to work to bring closer Sunni and Shiite Muslims."
