Stock futures turned higher Wednesday after Wells Fargo reported better-than-expected earnings and boosted their dividend 10%, providing some reassurance to investors worried about the health of the financial sector. About 80 minutes before the open, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were up about 32 points to 10950. The Dow closed under the 11000 mark for the first time in two years on Tuesday. S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures also advanced. Changes in futures don't always accurately predict early market moves after the opening bell. Oil continued to fall. The front-month August contract was down by $1.49 at $137.25 a barrel early Wednesday ahead of weekly U.S. oil inventories data.
