Turki said dialogue will focus on the common issues and will enable the Muslims to shed light on their cultural, scientific and legislative concepts, and will pave the way for them to contribute to guiding the human thought through open dialogue and exchange of views for solving the problems facing the mankind. He noted that the decisions issued by the UN as regards dialogue among the nations, cultures and civilizations will constitute an incentive for the followers of the religions and cultures in the world to work for cooperation and understanding through a clear dialogue. Dr al-Turki said the Muslims do welcome the calls of the UN for dialogue, understanding and coexistence because Islam advocates for that. Underlining the importance of dialogue, he said the internationalism of Islam makes it necessary to get acquainted with others.
